OUR MISSION
We envision an American society where immigrants are embraced as vital contributors to the country. Our mission is to welcome and serve newcomers from diverse cultural backgrounds—especially those from the Haitian community—helping them transition and thrive as they make America their home.
To achieve this mission, AHCD:
Provides essential social services, advocacy, and economic assistance.
Educates newcomers about American society and culture.
Encourages civic participation and engagement.
Promotes a positive image of Haitian immigrants and refugees.
Supports culturally and linguistically appropriate programs that foster community-building, mutual respect, and social inclusion.
